There are a number of soldiers rehabilitated at Ranaviru Sevana, Ragama waiting to return home to rejoin their families. However, most of these valiant soldiers have suffered permanent disabilities and require disable friendly wash room facilities at their residences in order to get back to their homes. Many of these soldiers do not have access to suitable wash room and water facilities. Ranaviru Fund has initiated a project to provide suitable wash room and water facilities for the soldiers recommended by the Ranaviru Sevana authorities.
We have received names of 9 such soldiers from different parts of the country and have selected 3 of them in Anuradhapura district to pilot the project. Following are the latest picture updates from the first 3 wash rooms being built in Anuradhapura district.
