Ranaviru Child with Medical Needs - J.A.Sajeeva Nilmini

  • Email

Sajeeva is a teenage girl who has suffered severe burn injuries to her face and body due to an accidental fire from a kerosene lamp. Her main concern is to rectify her lip which is severely disfigured and with the help of her parents she's currently looking into the possibility of undergoing surgery at the Kandy (or Colombo) General Hospital.

While waiting for her surgery Sajeeva is also attending school, and hopes to sit for the A/L examinations in 2011. Due to her current condition she's unable to take public transport and needs to travel to school and back in a three wheeler. The cost of the three wheeler is Rs.3000/= a month and her parents who have already spent a lot for the lengthy recovery of her injuries would immensely benefit if this cost could be borne by a kind-hearted donor.

We are in touch with Sajeeva's family and we will provide more details of the surgery and details of the costs (in the event such costs do occur). Our current aim is to raise Rs.3000/= every month so that she can travel to school in a private three wheeler without having to face unwanted difficulties.
